I know what it’s like to keep a small organization running when there’s more work than there are people to do it.

Since 2014, I’ve worked in nonprofit leadership and operations, often in roles that extended far beyond a single job description. I’ve managed people and programs, built systems and processes, handled HR and administrative functions, supported financial operations, and taken care of the day-to-day details that keep an organization moving. I know this work because I’ve been the person responsible for it.

My experience also includes working with small businesses and being self-employed. I’ve seen firsthand how organizations reach a point where the systems and staffing that worked when they were smaller simply can’t keep up anymore. There’s more to manage behind the scenes, but not necessarily enough to justify another full-time position.

That’s where HiveWorks Group comes in.

HiveWorks provides ongoing HR, administrative, and financial administrative support for small nonprofits and growing businesses. We step in with experienced capacity where you need it, whether that’s a long-term fractional solution or a bridge until your organization is ready to bring the work in-house.

My approach is practical and hands-on. I care about getting the details right, creating systems that work, and taking ownership of the work you hand over. The goal is simple: to give you more capacity without giving you one more person to manage.
